DJ loved to draw and paint from an early age, inspired by anything from comic books and album covers to portrait photographs and natural history books.

He is mainly a self-taught artist with years of experience working in professional fine art studios - designing and producing artwork for hotels, restaurants, public areas and private estates worldwide.

Now, he is a freelance artist that enjoys spending some of his time teaching art classes and developing new students. DJ is constantly inspired by the awesome beauty to be found in nature and has a real passion for colour and radiant light. His work frequently stops viewers in their tracks, as it so effectively captures the magic of the natural world that surrounds us.
