Anne is a retired college lecturer of Welsh-Dutch ancestry. She is particularly interested in strong, vibrant contemporary painting, textiles and printmaking. Anne often incorporates collage, texture and found objects into her mixed media works that also utilise a range of the more typical materials of acrylic, acrylic inks, gouache, pastel and watercolour. aa-rt is featuring her creative landscape painting in 2012, with a strong emphasis on the stunning and atmospheric views of North Wales.

Ann has exhibited widely in competitive open exhibitions including the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, The Royal Cambrian Academy, the Society of Women Artists, the Museum of Modern Art Wales and in the Curate-Anti-Curate Exhibition at the Midland's Art Centre. She is represented by a number of galleries in the Midlands and North Wales and her work has appeared in the Mall Galleries and the Bankside, London.
